Many moons ago I flew a Turbo Arrow into this airport and met some of the nicest people. Now their airport is under threat.
City government would like to plant an industrial area there, but the airport has many decades of history and is important to the region.
Like I usually ask people in NY to sign petitions for our friends on the west coast, I am now asking those who care, to look east.
Seeing international feedback from pilots not in Germany may help these guys to stay motivated in a fight that is almost not possible to win.
