I have GPS enabled 406 PLBs in the plane, and a small one in the life jacket pocket.

Thinking the DeLorme inReach may be worth it for loved ones, especially after all the calls & texts I had upon landing and hour after that Lake went down near Saratoga.

Stress to friends with today's instant media is not to be discounted.
