You fix that with wearing pilot sunglasses, the "espensive" brand, please, like Vedalo's for $259 a pair.
Then, when you meet a woman, tell her that you're a super pilot, and if she believes you after a while, her two year old female Husky can then proceed to attempt to eat the glasses and destroy them totally.
Any woman that sticks around a pilot clearly has a a couple of screws loose and is a natural keeper.

Did you ever think that the dog was smarter than you? She can't be fooled by fancy glasses

I worked in Yellowknife for 8 years. It was and still is an aviator town filled with lots of pilots. The best way to get a girl to ignore you in Yellowknife is to tell her you're a pilot. They know what a pilot makes per hour, they know how much they work and they know where they will be in the priority list of a pilot's life.

So if you're a pilot in a place like Yellowknife and want to get lucky. Lie and tell them you work underground in the mines. Then spend an entire months wages in one night on food, drinks and entertainment and act like it's only a days wages you've just spent.

The minners get lucky. Pilot just go home alone and play with their stick.

I went on the line in 1968. It was a lot more like Catch Me If You Can in those days. Today I have to agree with Kevin. I made more in 1969 then a starting FO today and that is in actual dollars not adjusted. And got my union dues and uniforms paid for.
