Just found out that they rent a Cessna 170 with a 180 HP Conversion on Baumann Amphib Floats solo.
I am looking into the time requirements and the hourly cost.

According to a guy that rents this plane, you need a SES with a minimum total seaplane time of 15 hours and a check out Rate is$200.00 Per Hours Solo Wet and $235.00 per hour dual. Seems like low time and an OK price for an Amphib.

Good price. Solo rental is rare enough.

Not an ad for them JJ. I just picked up the information from someone on another site that is renting it. Maybe you should reach out to them about advertising and the amount of North East Seaplane Guys on here.

Didn't think this was really advertising. Just a good price and good to know that there is any solo rental at all.

So.....Bob, what day are you meeting us in Greenville?

Maybe next year if all works out well with the search Don and I am doing. Going to Rochester to get checked out to rent an amphib and then having to get there to go any play does not make a lot of sense. Just thought others closer to that area, might be interested, like Tim, since I do not think he put his plane back on floats this year, but I could be wrong.

I think everyone is intentionally left in the dark about who may or may not go where. Still planning to go to Greenville in 2018.
