Hey Glenn,
"Googling Seaplanes in The News" will get you this video if you dig down a little toward the end of the list. As you "guessed" correctly (I did not post a comment regarding the video on that thread) and pointed out, I did however copy the link from that site. It was not in the "Members Only Section" and therefore like on this site, non-paying / non-supporting "lurkers" can view the contents. I try not to mention "unmentionalbles" here unless the unmentionable is actually responsible. Since that site did not make the video and it was a member, not the organization that posted it, I did not see that it was necessary to say where it came from. I understand your unusual need to point out that I posted on that Site (also the Spare Air Message, which was not lost on me), but I am a member of that organization, which I have always proclaimed and I am not ashamed of it.
I don't see videos posted here that often that say , "I found this on the interet at ....... " So I do not feel responsible to say where they have come from. The video has some interesting footage and is related to Flying and Specifically Water and Bush Flying. Therefore I would think that it is more appropriate here than a lot of other posts, some of which I have been unfortunately responsible for in the past.
If Credit for who did this video is the issue, it was done by the "National Film Board of Canada".
Bob
