(I embedded the video Glenn. Hope you don't mind. )

Do they make a special large size headset just for Super Cub Pilots?

I know quite a few "Super Cub Pilot Extraordinaire", I would have to say, this gentleman is one of them.

Tomorrow when the NTSB release the latest accident reports keep in mind not all of them are purely accidental... I do believe it's his plane and he can do anything he wants with it.

Thanks for fixing it. It does it automatically on other sites?
Great video, like to see someone staying current. Only difference between my Jeep and my Cub is one has more mud on it then the other.

You bring up a very good and often misunderstood point regarding the regulations. Here is what 91.13(a) says:

No person may operate an aircraft in a careless or reckless manner so as to endanger the life or property of another.

"Of another". So, in short, if it's your airplane, your property, and your life, ......... then it's okay at least as far as that big catch-all regulation is concerned.

"No navigation except compass and GPS"!
That's typical flying for hardcore bush pilots. They're more proficient and operating in specialized aircraft, however the increased risk from more demanding tasks mostly cancels it out.

No matter what the general consciences is each time a pilot does something not so wise. Everyone must remember that an aircraft is private property and if you want to wreck it, it's your RIGHT.

The argument comes into play when insurance companies get involved. The owner can keep that argument squelched by self insuring.

No matter the legal matter of possible wreckage, this makes me want to get my pilots license and start flying. This kind of bush flying is one of the things I most want to do.
