This is a '63 CJ-5 orchard Jeep with the original F-head four cylinder.

Back in the 70s one of my friends had a early 60s CJ5 with a 325hp 396 Chevy in it, it had an overdrive also. It had 2 short shifters and 2 tall shifters. He was so fast he could split shifts while going sideways. Scary doesn't even come close to what it was like to be a passenger in it. All Jeeps are fun as long as they run

Yup, got it 6 years ago, needed a bunch of work. drove it for 3 years before I blew the trans. Trying to get it going for next summer

Farmboy needed some ski rigging parts so I headed out to meet him at the County airport halfway.



Original plan was for me to land between in the grass but the big airport had a couple inches of packed snow so decided to land on the runway, did a couple touches to make sure I wouldn't grind to a stop and landed and taxied to the fuel farm parking.



Pete's new ride is a keeper





Stopped at Rays





Then headed up on the hill to play in 18" of fluff



Must have done 15 landings it was so much fun



Flew to after 5pm. Awesome

I was going to go to Toms but I had to go to deeper snow so headed North with Dave and Dan to meet up with Kenny and Mike at Beaver River
We stopped at Dave camp on Twitchell Lk









Then over the hill to Beaver River











Dan and I headed over to Raguette lk

We have someone new to play with. Eric Dorr on lake Plesent has the Marina there. It's in an old Goose hangar



He bought a C90 8F on EDO 1400 from Canada a couple months back. He's looking for wheel gear if anyone knows of some

I talked to Don Simmons today and as soon as I am signed off by my doctor come May 1st, I will be partnered with him in the Sedan. I did not know it is now at Island Bob's in the hanger. We will be looking for a set of skis for it for the 2017/18 winter season.

Maybe next winter I can get some ski instruction from you. For 6 weeks this summer I will have the sedan all to myself as Don will be going away.

Lake Winnipesaukee in New Hampshire has a FAA certified ice runway for a few weeks each winter. Only one in the country. Almost 200 miles each way for me on skis. Great day even though I was only going 43 mph for awhile heading home.
