There used to be a few great hobby shops in New York City. Also was a really nice one in Paramas, New Jersey and a huge one in Ramsey, New Jersey. With the cost of rent in the area, most of them are gone. Now it is mainly mail order from a warehouse somewhere where the rent is lower and the labor rate is better too.

There are a few around, but the prices are high and the inventory limited.
