New Electronic Ignition

Unread postby RKittine » Tue Jan 10, 2017 9:44 am

Well, today I get a new Electronic Ignition. Hopefully in 60 days from today I will be able to start flying again. If so, the plan is to have a share in an Aeronca Sedan on Floats, Wheels and Skis. I was surprised that the FAA actually encouraged the installation of a Pace Maker in my chest. Can't keep letting Glenn have ALL the fun.

Wishing you positive results with minimal snags.
If I weren't so far away your phone would ring every time I went flying.

Thanks Guys, I am home and healing. Hoping after about a week, I will have considerably more strength, which are the expectations.

Bob, do the new ones come with a remote or phone app so you can turn up the volume :Captain:

Hey Glenn,

Actually they do. I have a unit that I put over the area in my shoulder and it reads the data from the Pacemaker, uploads it and sends it to my cardiologist. He can then upload changes to the way it works, target resting heartbeat, upper end exertion heart beat etc. and then the unit downloads the new data, through the skin, into the Pacemaker. It will work anywhere in the world with 110/220 volt electricity (just to charge the unit) and cell phone service.
