Our Runway is a combination of backyards running to the lake . One way in Landing from North to South for Draggers. 1000-1200' useable, All traffic monitor 123.45. Seaplanes can land in the bay and look for attendant to avoid rocks. Seaplane parking on North or South of Peninsula. Other aircraft park up by my Cub close to the house. NOTE! Spot land at the ORANGE CONES prior to that is a dirt road that is raised 4 ' LAND AT THE CONES or just past. SKILLED SHORT/SOFT FIELD EXPERIENCE A MUST! We don't want any incidents! Tim McCormick was in 2 years ago in his 172 on wheels BUT it has 180HP and he has skills. Call Mark for any info 518-885-6600 Click Photo link below to see photo layout. Thanks to all who make this possible!

How is the water level these days and is there any place to taxi out of the water for an amphibian?

John I don't think so, but Mark might have a place for you to moor to.

The Amphibian if its a Lake can sit on the south side of the Peninsula on the beach if that works. Too mucky to taxi it out without a ramp. Call Mark with questions

We had a good weekend around here this weekend. Sat morning we had a little seaplane breakfast on Sacandaga Res at Marks place. It also has a landing area joining the 3 neighbors yards together. Joe was the only wheeled one to land and then hopped one ride with a happy gal.

So then we left the seaplane breakfast and I flew home and jumped in the Cub and headed to the Pig Roast at Boonville NY. They had a great turnout with over 70 planes and a great feed was had by all. Sorry no pictured but I picked on Jake about stealing our pretty women.

So Joe and I head back South and Joe goes " hey, lets go land behind the Dew Drop Inn " I ask, " you mean the strip where you tore your wingtip on ". " Yea, but that was only because the snow was hanging on the branches ". So.... I fly over it and Joe goes " go on in " and I go " sure looks narrow, I think I'll pass " Joe starts making ' Clucking " noise meaning I'm a chickin sh!t.

So he lands

Image

Joe "Holy crap my wingtips are in the bushes " Me " Duh "

Image

I need to find some old farts to fly with I can't keep up with the kids anymore.

Sunday we headed to Island Bob's for breakfast and had 30+ planes flyin.
