DHC-3 Otter Wing Strut ACS - Feedback Wanted

Through the Type Club Coalition, which we are a member of, I was made aware of a Wing Strut ACS on Viking Otters.
The FAA is currently seeking specific comments from people familiar with the aircraft to determine further action.

This has been an ongoing issue here in Ketchikan and Juneau. The operators in this part of Alaska have not seen as many failures as the interior of the state. The FAA have not figured out why the damage is more common in some regions than others.

P.S. The DHC-3 is the 'Single Otter' and the DHC-6 is the 'Twin Otter'
