NEED HELP. Data from C-185 Seplane Supplement

Unread postby Float Pilot » Thu Feb 18, 2016 4:13 pm

I need some numbers from a C-185 Seaplane Supplement.
I need the published take-off landing and take-off distances at sea level at standard temps. ( Gross weight)
Plus the Rate of climb at sea level at a standard temp at gross weight.

You're not giving many specifications. What year and model 185, what make/model floats? If the floats are installed by an STC then what STC no. Does the aircraft have a gross weight increase STC?

If you are just looking for the 185 Floatplane Supplement go to esscoaircraft.com:
http://www.esscoaircraft.com/c-12009-cessna-185-series-owners-manual-poh-pim.aspx

The Cessna Floatplane Supplement is based on the certified float installation listed here in the Type Certificate Data Sheet (3A24):

After reading your other post, I think I know what you're asking.

If you setup a Cessna 185 up right, it can perform within your parameters.

This one is not set up for STOL operations.

I only need the numbers from ANY model 185 from the Cessna factory Seaplane Supplement. I am only using it for comparison purposes, to prove that they really do not mean much when compared to actual performance.

You know how Cessna always put in a page with chart showing t/o distances at various temps. Usually with a couple models of EDO floats for the C-180 and C-185.

Oddly enough I saved POHs and Seaplane Supps over the years for the C-170B, 172( three models) , C-180( couple models) and C-206G, Beaver, Otter and Helio.

For some reason old Cessna factory Seaplane Supplements for C-185s are very hard to find.
