The four aircraft all flew into restricted areas in the “outer ring” of the closed-off zone, which was between 10 and 32 miles from Levi’s Stadium, said Ian Gregor, a spokesman for the Federal Aviation Administration.

The planes were a Cessna 150, a Cessna 172, a Beechcraft BE35—all of which landed in Livermore— and a Vans RV 6, which landed in Paso Robles, Gregor said.

More than anything, I just feel sorry for the pilots who get caught in a mess like that. It's never done with malicious intent, and the poor guys suddenly are in the middle of a big bad deal.
