I'm okay with the fact that when my computer acts ups and I've exhausted all my ideas that I can still turn it off and back on to get it to work. But, I'm just not crazy about the idea that is the solution for my fly by wire control problems.

I'm getting old, the more I know about the modern aircraft the more I just want to fly a J-3 Cub everywhere.

It won't be long before they remove the windshields and the pilot will wear a VR cell phone on their head.

I can't lay my hands on it, but it wasn't long ago I saw serious proposals for airplanes without windows, to include no windows in the cockpit. From an engineering standpoint, it made sense. But, it just didn't "feel right". Then again, there is a whole lot of stuff coming out in cars that changes the way we've always done it, like steer by wire.
