They should just park it here in New York City next to the Intrepid. Would make an interesting pair. Mama and Papa.

Whats the approximate value if brought to a scrap metal yard? Could that money be used to fund some of Trumpets prestigious plans?

More interesting might be what is the cost of dismantling and safely disposing of the reactors and their fuel rods.

When I was in college we were low on dome space and the school purchased an ocean liner that was going to be scrapped. Pulled it up to the school's dock on the Hudson River, put ballast in the bottom and turned it into a dorm with super party rooms and fraternity areas. It was there for a number of years until new dorms were finished and then the ballast removed and it was towed away. I lived on it for a year, which was fun.

A really big part of that expense would what to do or how to deal with her 8 nuclear reactors. Talk about redundancy or overkill.

Rajay, I will be in Chapel Hill on March 26th for about a week. Will you be available for coffee or something during that time? Bob
