Let us know how that works out. It would be nice to think someone will still do what 's right.

I am hoping he will remove his head from his ass and do the right thing without being strong armed.

Can an unpaid judgement be sent in to lower the deadbeat's credit rating at least?

Not sure. Probly could if I wanted to pursue it that far.. May just chalk this one up to experience.

Well I did the unthinkable today. I contacted the FSDO and after a long phone conversation I emailed pictures. Will probably end up taking the parts to the ANC FSDO for further inspection by them.. I truly do hate to do that to someone, as I have said he is a nice and knowledgeable guy, but I am not going to take this one in the shorts without some sort of personal satisfaction. Chances are we will end up paying someone else to fix this stuff right, but the repair station that did this is not going to get away scott free.

You don't really do it to them, they do it to themselves....

I guess its been awhile since I updated this one. The guy re skinned the elevator and stab and actually did a pretty nice job on it. It is at least acceptable to us. Ended up taking the wings off and stripping it down for a complete paint job.

We got the fuse stripped last weekend and its almost ready for alodine and paint. Hope to get the wings stripped done next hitch home and get some paint squirted on the ole gal.

Stripper on it awaiting the overnight soak

A little wash down action with the hotsy pressure washer and she was naked!

All dried out and back in the hangar awaiting the next phase.
