And don't dump your plane up-side-down.

Beautiful shots as always Glenn, You should have skied down the Ski Mountain! Which Ski Resort is it? Where are the Lunch Pictures?

A Cessna 182 being auctioned by the state of Vermont. A student of mine wants to see it and I will be doing the flying.

Glenn, Are you getting inland what we are getting on the coast? If so, I think you should have plenty of snow for ski flying for a long time.

OK Glenn,

The snow is tapering off so pack up and head on down. With all the really cold weather recently even the salt water in the back yard is frozen solid and tomorrow it is supposed to be single digit temperature but clear. I have plenty of food, plenty of libations and guest bedrooms. My dock is still in the water and tying up on skis would be no problem. You could taxi right up to my house. I don't think we will be BBQing out on the deck though.

All it needs now is a set of folding wings and a prop. Never saw one of those before. Was it commercially made? Military?

Back in the 70s our gun club had some type of surplus tracked personnel carrier. About that size, but I can't remember what it was called? (Second thing to go I am told, but I can't remember by who)

Enjoy.

Now I remember - an M29 - Weasel with the added removable top. Two treads but no skis.

Bombardier built them for years for the military and even school busses. Some places up North still use them.

Its interesting what those companies do. The consulting firm I worked for did a project for them regarding manufacture of their Subway Cars for the Metropolitan Transit Authority (New York City). A good friend and customer of mine is the President and CEO of Embraer Commercial Aviation and it is amazing the stuff that they make.

Love the blue LED lights in this thing.
Aren't these cats rather uncomfortable after a few minutes? Must be quite rattly and noisy in this thing?

Thanks for posting all these 'cool' pictures. We've had quite the mild winter out here in Eastern Washington state. It's been below freezing at night but that's about it not much snow.

In Alaska when we have a colder winter, we remind each other while shivering waist deep in snow that it will kill most of the mosquito larva off. Gives just a little bit of a warm feeling.
